Using MyTopSecretThe User Interface MyTopSecret will guide you step by step through any process. There are 4 buttons on MyTopSecret start screen: Secret File, Carrier File, Hide , and Unhide. Click the "Secret File" button to
select a secret File from your windows explorer. When you finished the operation you can see Click the "Carrier File" button to
select a carrier File from your windows explorer. After finishing the
operation you can see Click the “Hide" button to get a Target File which looks like same with your carrier File you have selected before, but only it had been hidden a secret…It is very interesting. Click the “Unhide" button to separate the Secret File from the Target File (it includes the Secret File and the Carrier File) before this process you must first remember or get the password for the Secret File, so you need to save the password in a very secure place. That is very important. Note: There is a message list to display your operations. When you double-click any list you could see the total content of it. That is very convenient for you especially to a inexpert.

Select required file from the Dialog box and press Open button. ◆Carrier File Click the “Carrier File" button or select Files>Select Carrier File from the main menu. Dialog box for “select a carrier file" appears. Select required file from the Dialog box and press Open button. There is a point to remind you: The carrier file must be more than 100 bytes. ◆Hide Click the “Hide"
button Dialog box for “select a target filename or type a new filename" appears. Enter the new filename in the Dialog box and press Save button. Another Dialog box for specifying password will appear, after specifying a password, press OK button. ◆Unhide Click the “Unhide"
button Dialog box for “select the carrier file from which you want to unhide" appears. Select the required file from the Dialog box and press Open button. Another Dialog box for entering password will appear, after entering correct password, press Ok button. You can get the secret file which be hidden in the carrier file and its filename begin with "!". It sounds very strangeness, but is true. Except pro-buttons, there are some other menu commands and tools, using the menu commands and tools you can finish more complex options. ◆Change Password Select
Tools>Change Password
from the main menu or press the toolbox Dialog box for “select the carrier file which you want to change the password" appears. Select the carrier file which includes a secret file from the Dialog box and press Open button. Another dialog box for entering password will appear, after entering the old password, press Ok button. And the specifying password Dialog box will appear. After entering a new password, press Ok button. ◆Clean File Select
Tools>Clean File from
the main menu or press the toolbox Dialog box for “select the carrier file you want to clean" appears. Select the carrier file which includes a secret file from the Dialog box and press Open button. Another dialog box for entering password will appear, after entering the correct password, press Ok button. ◆View Messages Report Select Tools>View Massages Report from the main menu. There is a “Messages Report" windows appears. In this window you will see the fore operating if you take a tick for the menu >Options>Auto save Messages Report" before. ◆Erase Messages Report Select Tools>Erase Massages Report from the main menu. you can erase all the messages report if it is useless. We suggest you should erase it before you close the MyTopSecret window lest others know all your operations. ◆Run on the Tray Select
Options> Run on the Tray from the main
menu. If you take a tick for the menu “Run on the Tray" then when you
click minimize button the window MyTopSecret will be hidden into the system
tray. And you can see a icon of MyTopSecret on the system tray. Here, you
can click the icon with left key of the mouse and the icon will recover on
the taskbar. And if you click the right key there are some menu selections
for basic operation. In this way nobody knows what you are doing even if
he is beside of you. Especially to mention that you run the MyTopSecret
next time it will hide into the system tray if only you take a tick for
“Run on the Tray".
◆Configuration Select Options>Configuration from the main menu. There is a dialog box for you to select "Start_up Folder". One is "System default", that means when you click "Secret File" , "Carrier File" or "Unhide" etc. buttons, the dialog box will appear with "c:\";And another is "Last open", it means when you click "Secret File" , "Carrier File" or "Unhide" etc. buttons, the dialog box will appear with the folder you have clicked last time. |

MyTopSecret uses strong cryptography. When the user selects a carrier file and a secret file, and then click “Hide" button, there is a dialog box need to enter a password that will protect your secrets, this password will also be used to unhide, clean files and change the password etc., so I suggest you’d better save it in an secure place. ◆Concepts Secret File: it is a file which you want to hide, maybe it is a secret? A private message etc.? It could be any files. Carrier File: It is a file in which you can hide data using specific methods. MyTopSecret provides various carriers: picture files, audio files, program files, video files. There is a notice that the carrier file should be more than 100 bytes. All of them can be sent as an attachment to an e-mail (which contains a fake message). Hide: It is an operation that you can use it to hide the secret file into the carrier file that you have selected before, in this process there is a dialog box to select a target file name and another dialog box to specify password for protecting your secrets. Unhide: It is an operation that you can use it to recover the secret file from the carrier file. ◆Features and Benefits
